The Brigade Subscriber Node (BSN) system provides integrated voice/data/video switching, network services, and integrated HCLOS radio capability in a Standard Rigid Wall Shelter.  The Brigade Remote Subscriber Service (BRSS) is a sub-element of the BSN and extends voice/data/video subscriber services over transmission systems or fiber optic cable.  Network Management Client/Servers integrate software tools to administer both the BSN nodal and Wide Area Network (WAN)/Local Area Network (LAN) management.

The BSN/BRSS was developed by CERDEC and fielded by PM TRCS on an expedited basis to the newly formed Stryker Brigade Combat Teams (SBCTs) to provide required digital communications backbone capabilities.



CSS developed training materials and is providing ongoing NET, ReNET and sustainment training for BSN/BRSS operations.
